Haleakala Sunrise (1) Redux
Sunrise photo from the summit of Haleakala. To reach the summit of Haleakala, at 10,000 feet above sea level, we left the hotel at around 2:30am in the morning.
At the peak, the temperature is around 40 oF (or 5 oC). If you plan to go there, make sure you wear enough layers.
